I wanted to give out an essay tip that Mr. Chisnell mentioned in the Flatland essay workshop over the summer. He said that it might be a good idea to start your essay by writing the body paragraphs first. Mr. Chisnell went on to explain that this might help in writing a smother introduction paragraph, because you would know exactly what needed to be mentioned.
At first I thought this tip would do nothing to improve my intros, but I tried it anyway. I found that my intro seemed to be on a higher level than of previous essays. This tip presents all information, making it easy to create a start that for some might be challenging. I would strongly suggest trying this method out on your next paper.
