For several years, I have tried to live my life more and more sustainably. I fail often; I compromise too much. But I also find that as I reflect on this goal, the idea of being “green” (itself a rhetorical act of marketing an idea–selling a lifestyle) is problematic. More complicated than most of the media has it appear. I’ll periodically offer my thinking and what I’m engaged in reading here.
