The pendant adds to the user’s power of persuasion. Holders of a pendant may shift the genre/activity of any attack upon them (but not stop the attack).  For example, if a player is going to be attacked on a reading quiz, the pendant holder may change the activity to a workshop. Opposing users of pendants cancel the effect.

The Dilettante receives a pendant at the beginning of the game.
