when I\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Shined in my angel infancy.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Before I understood this place\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Appointed for my second race,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Or taught my soul to fancy aught\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">But a white, celestial thought;\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">When yet I had not walked above\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A mile or two from my first love,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">And looking back, at that short space,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Could see a glimpse of His bright face;\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">When on some gilded cloud or flower\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">My gazing soul would dwell an hour,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">And in those weaker glories spy\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Some shadows of eternity;\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Before I taught my tongue to wound\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">My conscience with a sinful sound,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Or had the black art to dispense\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A several sin to every sense,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">But felt through all this fleshly dress\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Bright shoots of everlastingness.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 O, how I long to travel back,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">And tread again that ancient track!\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">That I might once more reach that plain\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Where first I left my glorious train,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">From whence th\u2019 enlightened spirit sees\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">That shady city of palm trees.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">But, ah!
