Our very first disaster relief trip put us on restoration work on Hurricane Katrina, the first of several trips to New Orleans. While there, we restored a community civic center, a school, and several homes near the lower Ninth Ward. It was an amazing experience that began a great tradition for Royal Oak High School students.<\/p>\n
